Moriches Elementary School physical education teacher Ed Noll has been named the Suffolk Zone Elementary "Physical Education Teacher of the Year" by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD), an honor reserved for those who demonstrate excellence in teaching and overall performance in the discipline of physical education.

Today, the district learned that four students have tested positive for COVID-19 – one at John S. Hobart Elementary, two at Tangier Smith Elementary (non-related) and one at William Floyd Middle School. Contact tracing has been completed and anyone deemed to have been in close contact has been notified of the requirements to quarantine. These individuals will not be allowed to return to school until medically cleared to do so. Please click here for more information.
