Please review this important information from Superintendent of Schools Kevin M. Coster along with a list of questions and answers pertaining to COVID-19 testing requirements to remain open for in-person learning should the district or any of its schools enter into one of the New York State microcluster zones. There is also a consent/refusal form for your child(ren) to be tested.
The 2020-21 school district calendar is available on the website! Families should have received a printed version in their mailboxes over the summer. Please be sure to bookmark this link for digital access, as well!

As you may have heard, New York City schools announced today (November 18) that they will transition to remote learning. Many may begin to wonder what this news will mean for William Floyd and other Long Island districts. Our district does not fall under the jurisdiction of New York City schools, so Long Island schools operate under different guidelines. Bắn cá mậpEarlier this month, New York State amended its rules regarding travel outside of New York due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Should families elect to travel outside of New York State for the upcoming holidays or at any time, individuals may have to be tested for COVID-19 and/or face quarantine for up to 14 days upon their return. Please see the changes below and consider them when making travel plans this holiday season.
Bắn cá mậpThe New York State Universal Prekindergarten Program of William Floyd School District is still enrolling for the 2020-21 school year! This free preschool program is now offering in-person, hybrid and full remote options for pre-school aged students. Children must be four years old on or before, December 1, 2020 and live within the William Floyd School District to attend the UPK program. Families can only enroll through the last week of November.
